I am having to log in over and over again. Everytime I try and head to a new location on the forum it acts as though I've never been here before. I thought it may have been my browser, but at this point I've tried IE7, Firefox and Opera and they all act the same way.

AAAAHHHHH!!!!

Anyone else have this problem?

I only have that problem when switching between internet connections...I have a cingular air card, wireless, and on occassion I actually use a wire. The only time I have to log on that I have noted is when I move between say my air card and my wireless.

I haven't had to do it for a few days, but it happens to me in spells where I have to re-login intermittently. I figure it's just this particular site and try not to freak too badly about it. But it means it IS this site and not others.....

Well, it only seems to happen at work. I stay logged from home, heck, even stay logged on from my cell phone. I guess I'll just have to use my phone from work.

If "work" is constantly reassigning you IP addresses, that may be it. Or if cookies are not enabled on that computer. Just a thought.

Okay, I've done a little research...I've spent some time at Glock Talk and other sights with similar forum engines and I am able to stay on at work.

Will, do you have this forum configured to bounce a user if their IP addy changes?

It appears that the login is associated with the IP address. Whenevery I switch from my work vpn and my home network I have to re-login

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been paying attention to things as well as I once was lately, I checked into some settings this morning, and turned on off that had to do with associating IP with login, perhaps that will help... let me know if it does/n't There probably is more than one setting to do similar things... I know that constantly logging in has been an issue on the board for an upgrade or so (I've seen reports from other people using the board on other sites)

The log in problem is back.

Doesn't matter which box. I have to log in almost every time I come here.

It happens to me here in spurts. Especially for a week or three after I happen to do Windows Updates (which causes all manner of glitching for a time). Then it quits and returns to normal.

I too have to log in each time, there isn't even a box to stay logged in. This is the only site I visit like this.

FWIW, I had this issue for a while using firefox. If I had my bookmark pointed at www.occ....com it would make me log in. Now I point it to www.occ.com\index.php?\ and I'm logged in everytime.
